 I don't know that I have ever witnessed a more incredible horsemanship scene than when I saw Shamus at the Utah Horse Trainers Challenge, lift his 5 year old daughter up onto a 60 day trained 2yr old colt that he put his heart into and then proceed to share that moment with her. She did a great job and her daddy was right there to guide her. What a scene!
 Shamus Haws is the kind of person any horse would desperately want in its life once the horse sees what type of leader, protector and care provider he is. It is my ambition to become a man very much like him.

 March 2009, Shamus Haws succeeded in projecting a vision from within, the vision to make a positive impact in no less than one person's life, and out into the heart, the core, of others, where it has certainly activated or modified the processes therein in a positive manner. No doubt, since that day, the lives of others have felt a positive rippling effect, passed from one person to the other, all because of that one event.
